WASHINGTON—Have you ever thought about collecting art but didn’t know where to begin? Debra Force, one of New York’s best-known gallery owners and Alice Levi Duncan, a sculpture and art expert, will discuss “The Art of Collecting Art” Monday, June 25 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the National Museum of Women in the Arts. Presented by Smith Barney in collaboration with the Business and Professional Women’s Council of the National Museum of Women in the Arts, the event is free and NMWA director Judy Larson will serve as moderator.
