On Friday, November 7, 2008 the National Museum of Women in the
Arts will host its Annual Fall Benefit – one of the most desired
tickets in the District. Every year NMWA gathers a VIP audience
that includes luminaries from Washington’s diplomatic, government,
and social circles for this exciting event. Located in the dramatic
setting of NMWA’s Great Hall, the Fall Benefit presents guests with
an extraordinary opportunity to wine, dine, and dance with the most
celebrated and affluent members of the region.
This year the Museum will honor Lynda Carter, well known for
her role as Wonder Woman in the 1970s hit TV show of the same
name. Carter will perform her renowned cabaret show for an audience
of 300 guests in the Museums Great Hall. Guests will also enjoy
a gourmet dinner and dancing. This year marks the momentous 10th
anniversary of the Shenson Chamber Music concert series for which
the Fall Benefit helps to raise necessary funds.
