From gallery director to art educator, Skagen to D.C.: Contemporary Perspectives on Anna Ancher and Skagen Art Colony features individuals from Washington, D.C.’s art community sharing their perpective on NMWA’s new exhibition.

Amanda Jirón-Murphy, director of Hamiltonian Gallery on U Street, will discuss visually innovative works in A World Apart: Anna Ancher and the Skagen Art Colony. She will draw connections to Washington, D.C.’s  thriving contemporary art community.
