From gallery director to museum curator, Skagen to D.C.: Contemporary Perspectives on Anna Ancher and Skagen Art Colony features individuals from Washington, D.C.’s art community sharing their perpective on NMWA’s new exhibition.

NMWA’s series inspired by A World Apart: Anna Ancher and the Skagen Art Colony concludes with a gallery talk by NMWA’s Associate Curator Virginia Treanor. Treanor, one of the exhibition’s curators, will place Ancher’s work in an art historical context and explore links with contemporary art in the museum’s collection.
