JUL 03 Gallery Talk: Ursula von Rydingsvard
Lunch would be a good time to learn about wood sculptures!
Express lunchtime talks—30 minutes or fewer—are offered most Wednesdays. Facilitated by museum staff members, these conversation-driven thematic talks highlight three to six works on view.
This week, NMWA Associate Educator Ashley W. Harris discusses a sampling of works in Ursula von Rydingsvard: The Contour of Feeling.
ABOUT THE EXHIBITION:
The Contour of Feeling focuses on Ursula von Rydingsvard’s artistic development since 2000, featuring works made from wood or other organic materials that present a window into the emotional fragility and imposing scale that define her art.
