Picturing Mary with Catholic University
In conjunction with Picturing Mary, the National Museum of Women in the Arts (NMWA) and The Catholic University of America (CUA) are presenting a conference focusing on scholarship by graduate students. The first day of the conference, held at NMWA, is anchored by keynote speaker Miri Rubin, professor of medieval and early modern history, Queen Mary University of London, and essayist for the Picturing Mary exhibition catalogue. Other panels and sessions gather scholars from a broad cross-section of fields, including the arts, history and theology. Saturday conference events are held on the CUA campus.
