Event Description

About the Event

Guided by Tara Aura, a ritual artist and wellness consultant, this workshop begins with a sound healing and meditation experience designed to quiet the mind, release stress, and spark creativity.

Surrounded by art in the museum’s calming atmosphere, participants will be invited to slow down, breathe deeply, and connect with the present moment. Before the session, enjoy tea, courtesy of Khamsa (a D.C.-based woman-founded tea and tonic company), and conversation with fellow participants as you share reflections, meet new people, and build meaningful connections. This program blends art, mindfulness, and social connection, offering both personal renewal and the joy of coming together.

Please bring a yoga mat, pillow, or blanket to accommodate a comfortable sitting or lying position on the Great Hall’s marble floor.
