2015 Fall Benefit

Join us for the Fall Benefit, featuring cocktails, dinner, and a performance by Amy Burton and John Musto.

At this year’s Fall Benefit, NMWA’s Board of Trustees will host a performance by Amy Burton and John Musto. Burton has appeared with the Metropolitan Opera and the New York City Opera. Musto is recognized as “the leading vocal composer of his generation,” whose four operas have been performed at Wolf Trap Opera, Boston Lyric Opera, the Glimmerglass Festival, and the Moab Music Festival.

Combining her luminous soprano with his exquisite pianism, Burton and Musto have been delighting audiences across the U.S. and Europe with their programs of French chanson, German kabarett, and the Great American Songbook. As a duo, they have performed at the Liceu in Barcelona, the Songfest Festival in Los Angeles, and cabaret rooms, such as New York’s Café Sabarsky.
