2017 Advanced Teacher Institute

Calling all alumni of the ABC Teacher Institute!

Apply and extend your knowledge of the Art, Books, and Creativity (ABC) curriculum during the July 17–July 21, 2017, week-long advanced practicum.

Learn from and experiment alongside book artist Carol Barton; curriculum specialists in art, science, and language arts; and NMWA educators.

Expand your tool kit of book formats, writing exercises, and ABC curriculum integration ideas while exploring the parallels between studio habits of mind and STEM innovation thinking.

Participants receive art materials for their classrooms and can register for graduate credit through Trinity Washington University in Washington, D.C., for $375.

Free. $30 materials fee collected upon registration.

Prerequisite: ABC Teacher Institute

Please note the deadline to apply has passed and we are longer accepting new registrations.

Once educators receive notification of acceptance into the Advanced Teacher Institute, they will receive information about obtaining three graduate credit hours by registering through Trinity Washington University.
