Book Arts Lecture: At the Table—Poetry, Artists’ Books, and Book Objects

Join our 4th annual lecture celebrating book artists!

Artist and writer Carol Todaro speaks about the role poetry has played in her work as a visual artist during NMWA’s fourth annual Book Arts Lecture.

Todaro will discuss selected artists’ books, collaborative projects, and sculptural tableaus from the past 20 years, exploring the book as both object and subject. One of her poem-books, Looking Glass (1999), is currently on view at the museum in the exhibition Bound to Amaze: Inside a Book-Collecting Career.

Free. No reservations required.
