Book Launch with Homie House Press

Celebrate “Palentines” Day with a book launch!

Join Adriana Monsalve and Caterina Ragg, founders of Homie House Press, as they launch their eleventh—but first hardback—book, Sammys.

Sammys chronicles how Adriana and Caterina met and started Homie House Press, an on-going collaboration of independent publishing. It is a love letter to their friendship and how food can be a vehicle to unite people of diverse backgrounds.

They celebrate Palentines, a term created to step outside the binaries of romantic relationships within mainstream culture, as an act of happy rebellion.

There will be three sammys (sandwiches) from the book, with a discount for buying a book and a sammy together. There will also be live performances throughout the evening by Jamila Silvera and EN’B.
