This week, Curator of Book Arts Krystyna Wasserman discusses selections from the exhibition, which she curated. Through close looking, participants will examine works that attest to the artist’s interest in the natural world and her unparalleled imagination.


The exhibition presents more than 20 artworks and archival papers by Swiss Surrealist Meret Oppenheim (1913–1985). Illuminated through her musings, books of poetry and prints, and original letters to artists and friends, this exhibition explores Oppenheim’s relationships and personality.
