Shenson Chamber Music Concert: Jeanine De Bique

Recognized as an artist of “dramatic presence and versatility” (The Washington Post), Trinidadian soprano Jeanine De Bique’s luscious tone and compelling stage presence have garnered international attention and accolades.

Notable operatic accomplishments include her debut as Barbarina in Le Nozze di Figaro with L’Opéra et Orchestre de Montpellier and her performance in the title role of Monteverdi’s L’Incoronazione di Poppea and La Princesse in Ravel’s L’enfant et les sortileges with the Chautauqua Music Program.

De Bique has appeared with orchestras around the world. She recently was a soprano soloist in Mahler’s Symphony No. 8 with the New York Philharmonic, under Lorin Maazel, and in Brahms’ German Requiem with the Munich Philharmonic.
