Thank you for your interest in obtaining images from the collection of the National Museum of Women in the Arts (NMWA).
NMWA grants permission to download collection images from our website for your own personal and non-commercial use or for fair use as defined in the United States copyright laws. Requests for all other uses must be made in writing. Each request is separately considered, and permission is granted on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of the museum. Fees apply, depending on the type and nature of the intended use.
The museum does not give permission for commercial use such as promoting other products, advertising, etc.
Please note that while the museum owns the works in its collection, it does not own the copyrights for the works. The requestor is responsible for securing any and all copyright permissions from the copyright holder unless the work is in the public domain.
