Frida dear — I couldn’t
find any picture of
myself to send you — so
I sent a copy of a
Museum bulletin in
which there are several
pictures — and I am
enclosing a small
view of my house —
It is all on one floor —
and it is mostly
windows — my bed
room is the one nearest

the camera — Behind it
is another bed room — Just
below them at the left is
a swimming pool — The
living room is at the
left and behind it
a small library and
a circular dining room —
which you can’t see in
the photograph — The window
at the right is in my
bath room —

it will be a month
before I can see them —
Your house looks most
attractive but I like

hair long — though I
would like you any way —
When will you be
coming here — and
when does Levy have
your show — I hope
you can paint my

daughters portrait while
you are here —

The spring is just
beginning now and I
spend as much time
in the country as I
can — The tulips are
pushing up — there
is a quickening in
the air — and a
stirring in me — Winter
is like a tunnel —
Write when you
have time and send

me photographs of what
you are painting — and
of yourself —

Much love always —
