This is a letter from Edgar Kaufmann, jr. (1910 to 1989) on behalf of the Kaufmann's Department Store in Pittsburgh, PA. The Kaufmann family commissioned Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater house. Kaufmann is best known for becoming an architecture and art history scholar.
