Frida — it is me Jacqueline —
You know, for two years I wanted to go to
Mexico — now I am ready for it. After my
first show which is on April the 10th — and
when Aube is free from school. (June) we
could both of us go — about the papers
everything is done here at the consulate — and
they must have sent already my demand to
Mexico — but they told it would be better
if (qiucker) if you could do something about
it directly in Mexico. The papers I send you
they have them already at the emigration service
having them it will be easier for you to get
“throw my case” — if you ever want to bo-
ther about! If they let me go I we will
stay all summer with Aube. may be a little
longer if I find a school for Aube. (English —
Spanish — French — school!!)
Very strange I write to you as if I left you yester-
day! You never wrote to me and I don’t
like very much to speak alone into the space.
many things happened since we saw each
other. not many good things — anyway since
you here I started to paint “seriously” at last
and I won’t never stop — I will send you
x the catalogue of my exibition in two weeks
It is the most sad thing André can’t come even
[instead?] of us, he is extremely unhappy and has
to work very much to live.

Maybe I will hear from you before
I leave.

Je t’embrasse tendrement avec Diego.

Jacqueline
