A tall, rectangular print of black lines on a peachy background, framed with a thick, off-white border. The print depicts a woman from behind with chin-length hair in a sheer, white, sleeveless, knee-length dress. She holds a cast-iron pan up like a mirror, gazing at a face in the pan.

Event Description

About the Event

Join NMWA educators during their residency with Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS) Look Club Online.

Look Club is an opportunity to come together as a community to practice looking, talking, listening, and engaging with art and each other. During each weekly session, NMWA educators will facilitate discussions highlighting images from NMWA’s collection. Questions are broad and open-ended to encourage participants to discuss what they see, think, and wonder about the chosen works. If you enjoy looking and talking about art, sharing your observations and interpretations, and listening to those of others, this program is for you.

About our Partner

Visual Thinking Strategies is a research-based education nonprofit that believes thoughtful, facilitated discussion of art activates transformational learning accessible to all.
