Event Description
About the Event
Unleash your radical feminist during an evening highlighting bold expression and community. Taking inspiration from themes present in Niki de Saint Phalle In Print, such as activism, archetypes, and personal reflection, spark your own inner revolution by speaking to tarot, palm, and kiss mark readers. Add your voice to a community installation showcasing radical acts of community, feminism, and the arts. Channel your future self and design a tarot card that reveals your inner truth and hidden power. DJ Tezrah will set the vibe with beats that move the body and spirit. Enjoy guided spotlight tours of Guerrilla Girls: Making Trouble and A Radical Alteration: Women’s Studio Workshop as a Sustainable Model for Art Making, exhibitions that explore decades of fearless feminist art and activism.
The first 100 visitors will receive a unique customized print created by Gloria Ann Shows, the artist behind Espiritu Press.
Two drink tickets are included with admission.
All members can purchase tickets, even if the event is sold out; members at the Explorer level and above receive two free tickets to each NMWA Nights event.
Tickets go on sale on September 3 at 10 am.
