Adult & College Tours

Learn about the contributions of women artists and the museum’s unique mission on engaging, interactive tours for visitors of all ages.

To request a private guided tour for your group, review the information on this page and then complete an Adult & College Group Tour Request Form. If you are unable to complete this online form, please email reservations@nmwa.org with your desired dates, group size, and contact information. For self-guided groups of ten or more, contact tickets@nmwa.org.

Available Times and Reservation Policies

  • Private group tours are available Tuesday through Sunday at 11 am and 1 pm, excluding  the museum’s Free Community Days (first Sundays and second Wednesdays).
  • Tours generally last between 45 and 60 minutes.
  • All private tours require reservations and must be scheduled at least four weeks in advance by submitting a request form.
  • If you are unable to complete this online form, please email reservations@nmwa.org with your desired dates, group size, and contact information.

Fees for private Docent-led Tours

  • College and university for-credit course groups: free
  • Adults (5 to 20 people): admission per person + $200 tour fee
  • Adults (20 to 40 people): admission per person + $400 tour fee
  • Groups that share proof of tax-exempt status are eligible for a 50% discount on the related tour fee. To receive the discount, submit the request form and then email proof of status to reservations@nmwa.org.
  • For groups fewer than 5, consider our drop-in opportunities including Gallery Talks (offered most Wednesdays at 12 pm.) and Collection Highlights Talks (offered most days at 2 pm.). To learn more, visit our calendar.
