Art Is For Everyone. Help Make Access Possible.

Keep art accessible and women artists visible. Make your gift by June 30 and help us finish our fiscal year strong.

A woman with light colored skin, wearing a black top and white pants, talks to a group of people in a gallery room. She stands in front of a large, painted portrait of a woman in a high-collared red dress.

NMWA Nights

A group of people are socializing and laughing in an elegant room with chandeliers. They appear to be enjoying a lively conversation. One person holds a drink, and the atmosphere seems joyful and relaxed.

Event Description

About the Event

Join us for a night where image, reflection, and inspiration come together in a rich celebration of identity. Experience the opening of Tawny Chatmon: Sanctuaries of Truth, Dissolution of Lies with the artist herself. Chatmon’s work dismantles racist myths and uplifts Black cultural truths. Journey inward and channel your own story as you make a self-portrait book as an act of reflection, resistance, and personal expression. DJ MIM’s multi-genre beats will set a soulful, electric tone.

Two drink tickets are included with admission.

All members can purchase tickets, even if the event is sold out; members at the Explorer level and above receive two free tickets to each NMWA Nights event.

Tickets go on sale on October 1 at 10 am.
