Known for her bold Art Deco portraits and unapologetic persona, de Lempicka navigated the upheavals of war, exile, and shifting political landscapes with resilience and creative brilliance.

Director Julie Rubio weaves together rare archival footage, expert commentary, and dramatic visual storytelling to explore how the artist forged a lasting legacy through art, reinvention, and sheer will. This screening offers a unique opportunity to reflect on themes of survival, self-expression, and the enduring impact of women in art.

Following the screening, join us for a moderated Q&A with the filmmakers, Julie Rubio (director, writer, and co-producer) and Blake Wellen (co-producer).  We look forward to sharing behind-the-scenes insights and the groundbreaking discoveries that shaped this film.
