Frida Darling —

I have thought of you so much,
so much — I would have been
so happy to be near you this
winter. I am sure, somehow
I would have helped you.
But you never answered me one
single word to all my letters — so
I finally gave up writing.
Foolishly.

Frida, I want to come to Mexico.
I might come with a crazy woman
(an Austrian pianist) who has a
car and wants to drag me all
over the place and down to South
America. But I have doubts if
the whole thing will work.
So far I have decided to give up my

flat for 4 or even 5 months. So I have my
Rent money to stay with!! Is’nt that
intelligent?

I have been ill all through the winter
with innumerable tonsillitis. Finally
I was operated 10 days ago and
now I begin to feel strong as a bull.
Please, ask Kristina to write me
for you. I want to know if you
will be in Coyocan and if I could
stay with you a short time and
if you will be pleased to see me

I know you were to have an ex-
hibition in Los Angeles. So may be
you are there now.

I want to hear from you.

I love you, Frida Chula
