Dear Frida, Here I
am home again in far
off California. It was
a most terrific disappoint-
ment to miss you the
day we were supposed
to have lunch. I waited
and couldn’t find you
anywhere in that huge
hotel!! Please forgive
me if I kept you
waiting too, but you
just were nowhere
to be found! The
[Bones’?] came down to

will come back to
California when you do –
Mrs. Stern says you
are coming in six months!

That is too long to wait.
Albert Bender is here
and sends his love
