The 12th annual Anacostia River Festival, hosted by the 11th Street Bridge Park and the National Park Service, honors the women who shaped Washington, D.C., while uplifting community, culture, and connection. Join NMWA educators at this free, family-friendly celebration in Anacostia Park for art-making inspired by women artists with ties to this city.

Building Bridges is a non-profit with five signature projects designed to provide equitable access to health, arts, and economic opportunity. They build, convene, and innovate in partnership with communities east of the Anacostia River.
