Event Description
About the Event
It is Women’s History Month at NMWA Nights! We’re partnering with Expand the Canon, an organization that uncovers and uplifts classic plays by women and underrepresented genders. Throughout the night, enjoy pop-up performances around the museum staged alongside NMWA’s signature works of art.
Live music from The Bayberries, an all-female folk and bluegrass trio, will set tone for the night. Explore your own creative voice by crafting a one-page zine showcasing what you’re passionate about. Take your advocacy to the next level and participate in a museum-wide bingo game inspired by the museum’s newest initiative, Random Acts of Art Equity, which promotes gender equity in the arts. Let your voice be heard and receive an exclusive NMWA Nights prize.
Two drink tickets are included with admission; additional beverages and food are available for purchase.
All members can purchase tickets, even if the event is sold out; members at the Explorer level and above receive two free tickets to each NMWA Nights event.
