About the Event

Get ready to sparkle! We’re celebrating the 10th anniversary of our award-winning social media campaign, #5WomenArtists, with an aluminum-themed bash.

Join us in your metallic or glitter-inspired looks for an exclusive VIP Experience at 7 pm featuring art world luminaries, an open bar, a private art performance, and more. The evening reaches full shimmer for at 8:30 pm with a dazzling lineup of music performances, DJ sets, and interactive moments including a live mural, costume contest, and pop-up art activations. It’s your time to shine!

7 pm VIP Arrival
Start the night with exclusive early access to the museum. VIP guests will experience special performances from the award-winning members of haus of bambi, as well as a poetic activation by Alexa Patrick and curated music by Les the DJ, all with a premium open bar. The VIP Lounge offers intimate salon activations as the museum’s mood shifts with the light.

The VIP Lounge closes at 9:30 pm as the celebration transitions fully into the Great Hall. 

8:30 pm General Admission Arrival
The night reaches full beam as more guests join the festivities and add to the collective shine. Enjoy an Ebonibleu parade from Miss Grace David (Best Local Artist 2025 Washington Blade), serenaded by a live music performance. The galleries and activations come alive in this window and the rest of the haus will present on-the-hour pop-up performances leading to 11 pm headliner: Bessie Award-Nominated and crowned winner of Revry TV’s King of Drag, King Molasses.

10 pm Costume Contest
This evening builds to our aluminum-inspired costume contest (in honor of the #5WomenArtists movement’s 10th anniversary) in the Great Hall, hosted by haus of bambi. Les the DJ will amplify the energy as shimmering metallic, chrome, and glitter-infused looks take center stage.

10:30 pm to 12 am Late-Night Energy
Music, dancing, and performances continue throughout the museum as the celebration carries into the night. Bars close at 11:45 pm, with the evening concluding at midnight.

This event is 21+. General Admission tickets include lite bites along with beer and wine.
