About the Event

Join us for a lively conversation with celebrated book artists Alisa Banks, Julie Chen, Suzanne Coley, and Maricarmen Solis, as they reflect on the genre of artists’ books and their works in the exhibition Holding Ground: Artists’ Books for the National Museum of Women in the Arts (closing October 20, 2024). Holding Ground features nine new works by celebrated book artists to inaugurate NMWA’s Learning Commons. Elizabeth Ajunwa, director of the Betty Boyd Dettre Library and Research Center, will moderate.
