Virtual Educator Professional Development featuring Sonya Clark: Tatter, Bristle, and Mend
During this virtual educator professional development program, participants learn about, discuss, and create in response to artwork by Sonya Clark (b. 1967). Clark is renowned for her mixed-media works that address race and visibility, explore Blackness, and redress history.
Presented in conjunction with special exhibition Sonya Clark: Tatter, Bristle, and Mend, on view at the National Museum of Women in the Arts from March 3 through May 31, 2021, and as part of the inaugural Remake Learning Days DMV regional festival, from May 3 through 22, 2021.
