What’s On View:

  • Sonya Clark: Tatter, Bristle, and Mend is the first survey of textile artist Sonya Clark’s 25-year career and includes the artist’s well-known mixed-media sculptures that address race and visibility, explore Blackness, and reimagine history.
  • Mary Ellen Mark: Girlhood presents images photographer Mary Ellen Mark made throughout her career depicting girls and young women.
  • Selections from the Collection highlights works from the museum’s collection, which is regularly rotated to spark new thematic connections.
  • Her Flag is a nationwide art and travel project created by artist Marilyn Artus to mark the 100th-anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment, which enshrined women’s right to vote within the text of the U.S. Constitution.
