Internship opportunities are available in the fall, spring, and summer in a variety of departments.
Our internship program is specifically designed for students who have completed their sophomore year of undergraduate study (or higher), graduate students, recent graduates, or those with two-years’ worth of work experience after high school.

General Information
Applicants may only apply for one internship per session. Only applications submitted via our online form will be considered.
To apply, submit an electronic application. You do not need to provide a cover letter, instead please upload a two-page writing sample of your choice. If you are currently a student, please upload your unofficial transcript. All supplemental documents must be in PDF format and labeled with the applicant’s last name, first name, and name of the document. The electronic application is only available when there are open internships.
If you are unable to apply through the online job application, please send an email to internship@nmwa.org with your resume, two-page writing sample, and unofficial transcript (if applicable). All attachments should be in Microsoft Word or PDF formats only, and labeled with the applicant’s last name, first name, and name of the document.
Applications or the Fall 2025 term are open now through June 15.
Compensation
Interns who are accepted will earn $17.50/hour.
Interns may work either a full-time (40 hours/week, up to 480 hours) or part-time (at least 20 hours/week, up to 240 hours) schedule.
