• Sonya Clark: Tatter, Bristle, and Mend is the first survey of textile artist Sonya Clark’s 25-year career and includes the artist’s well-known mixed-media sculptures that address race and visibility, explore Blackness, and reimagine history.
• Mary Ellen Mark: Girlhood presents images photographer Mary Ellen Mark made throughout her career depicting girls and young women.
• Selections from the Collection highlights works from the museum’s collection, which is regularly rotated to spark new thematic connections.
• Betsabeé Romero: Signals of a Long Road Together is the latest installation in NMWA’s public art series, the New York Avenue Sculpture Project.
