Black and white photo of a woman sitting next to a vase of lillies. Her eyes are lined in thick black pencil, which matches her dark brows. Her tiered metal necklace and dark v-neck shirt accenuate the skin of her chest. Her dark hair is pulled back and she smiles slightly.
Justine Kurland
Justine Kurland is best known for photographs of adolescent girls, nude pregnant women and mothers, and commune inhabitants arrayed in spectacular, lush landscapes.
A light-skinned adult womand with bobbed brown hair stands against a white wall wearing a sleeveless dress with a colorful geometric print. On the wall behind her hangs a color photograph of a light-skinned person working outside under the hood of an old red car.
Ursula von Rydingsvard
Sculptor Ursula von Rydingsvard fuses a labor-intensive process with personal reflection to construct evocative and monumental abstract works from cedar wood.
Color photograph of a woman shot from the collarbone up. Her brown hair is short on the sides and reaches up on the top, with subtle blonde highlights. Her light skin is slightly lined and she smiles subtly, her brown eyes looking right into the camera.
